Lake Ashinoko (2016)

A crater lake lying just south of a volcano, Ashinoko felt like a peaceful, picturesque refuge away from the bustling city. The winter sun shone down through the clear winter air, reflecting off the cold water and the numerous well-worn peddle boats. In the distance, the frosty white peak of Mount Fuji visible. It was a welcome and worthwhile sight after the lengthy trip from Tokyo.
