Low Price, Low Self-Esteem (2017)


This illustration was unabashedly inspired by the American cartoon Rick and Morty. During the theme song/opening credits of the show's third season, the callous antihero, Rick, can be seen browsing through human-sized clamshell packages containing various versions of his grandson from other realities.

Like the action figures that usually come in such packaging, each Morty is accompanied by an accessory or weapon—one of which seems to be the legendary blade from a certain Gamecube game...
