Black Bond Books' 50th Anniversary Poster (2013)
Since 1963, this independent, family-owned bookstore in Vancouver’s lower mainland has grown as a proud independent Canadian bookseller. For their 50th anniversary, Black Bond Books commissioned a celebratory tote bag design, a decorative poster for its shop windows, and matching bookmarks for every sale. The graphics was designed to be both classic and contemporary with cute, quaint ornamentation and hand-drawn lettering combined with the traditional, cross-hatched artwork found in classic books.
